The Fire Bringer

A Prometheus like god of flame, said to have given the people the recipe for a readily available synthetic oil to provide warmth and light to Vornheim. The legitimacy of this is unfounded as whale oil is largely used and this mythical recipe is just that. He is currently chained at the top of The Burning Eye to the far flung North in the Smoker’s Sea, just North of Nightport on a separate island known as the Iris. Why he is chained there is unknown, or by who for that matter. Devotees and tenders to the lighthouse occasionally see a burning hand on the inside of the smaragdine glass of the physical ight atop the lighthouse itself. No one except for the head lighthouse keeper is ever allowed to open the light and the devotees are fanatical on this tenet of lighthouse maintenance. His holy symbol is a hand on fire. Interpretations have him anywhere from Chaotic Neutral to Neutral Good. Again nobody really knows as no one has really been able to ask. They are the “Sun god” but uh that’s like the least worshipped part of their portfolio. More being associated with light and fire in general along with the few sailors that exist in Vorovia.
