Celestial Sovereign

"Who set the stars in their courses, and gave names even to the lights of heaven?"

Nihvaastare was a god who created the land from which Vorovia sprung. They were given a section of the planet of Londe to transform and create their art after the great divine council with the other creator gods like Pelor, Moradin, and Corellon. Now they did not create their own peoples, although some theorize the faceless and knowing Olms are theirs. The Olm’s near faceless visages a blank canvas for actions and ideas. Instead, they took the small area they were allotted through the Divine Council. They were not respected, their ideas and gifts, and needs were overlooked. Yet in their divine countenance there was no malice, simply a deep knowing of what had to be done. Their area could only allow for the creation of mud and filth, so that is what was done. From their vast and creeping fingers delving into the mud, they created the vast network of caves beneath the ground which Vorovia sits on. They understood the caves would not stay if they left them wet and seeping with water, so they dried the walls of their new caves and brought it to the surface to create Lake Vorovia, and creating the meandering and ponderous river that leads to the Smoker’s Sea. They saw the earth was barren on the surface so they brought some minerals to the surface and gave those who would dwell in their creation a way to live. They saw the land he was given was cold and barren on the surface so he created the Dolmenwood to provide should the fey allow it. When they were done making his land it was not perfect, as such pursuit would be vain and laborious, it was sufficient. They did all they could to encourage those who would live in Vorovia to follow in their footsteps before stepping away from their creation. Take what they need from nothing, survive, and then contemplate the infinite.

They currently reside in Nirvana gazing into the infinite void. Nihvaastare is true neutral and is the Vorovian creator deity associated with many things but mostly knowledge, creation, the earth, caves, and miners. Their clergy is not super active and is the miners working in the many mines beneath Vorovia but also the contemplative ascetics living in monasteries. Nobody has gotten a straight answer from them on what actually has happened in their long existence and their feelings on the other gods. Their holy symbol is two interlocked circles of slabs with runes drawn in them. Their alignment is true Neutral.
