The Divine Physician

"Suffer to comfort the suffering; sacrifice to heal the sick."

Phylerion is a god of the seas, and disease, and healing. Deep within his skull he keeps the knowledge of disease and healing. He can cure any ailment or inflict any disease amongst his enemies. His medical knowlege is unrivaled and unparalleled a majority of his followers the medicine men practicing the esoteric and seemingly random remedies practiced across the nation. Yet they work and so does he. He smells of the salty air of the ocean and the taste of blood and bile forms in the mouth of those who approach him. Unfortunately, it is only this knowledge that keeps him alive and sated, as the secret to immortality, which he found in life, has been stolen from him, and his worshippers are desperately attempting to find again in order to restore him to the full power he once commanded. His immortality after all, is not linked to whether or not he is worshiped. Something unheard of amongst the gods, and should anyone out of Vorovia, know surely the nation will be invaded by the other deities trying to plumb the depths of the Smoker's Sea and Phylerion's Skull Keep deep below the waves. No doubt causing countless destruction as they go sparing not the people. Phylerion keeps this secret as a potentially selfless act to avoid vast swathes of destruction that the ill-repute would surely cause. Some say Falstaer has it, a claim he adamantly denied in the past. A great deal of his power goes to keeping himself alive. His clergy is small and devout as being a god of the ocean on an effectively landlocked nation gives you little power amongst the people. He is propriated to keep away the plagues and diseases that spread through the inner city of Vornheim. His symbol is a crab clutching an orb. He is Lawful Neutral.
