Description: You know how to cast spells that cause terrible, bleeding wounds.

Prerequisites: Empower Spell, Knowledge(History)(4 ranks)

When affected by this feat, a spell that deals damage to a creature also inflicts a bleeding wound that does not heal normally. On each subsequent round, the victim loses 1 hit point at the beginning of your turn. The continuing hit point loss can be stopped with a Heal check (DC equal to the spell's save DC, or the save DC it would otherwise have in the case of a spell with no save), a cure spell, or a heal spell. You cannot apply this feat to a spell that does not deal damage (such as charm person or baleful polymorph). A wounding spell occupies a spell slot two levels higher than the spell's actual level.
