The Hierarch of Hell

"All who set foot beyond the iron door are mine, and never shall I release them."

The Watching Silence is the god of Death in Vorovia, presiding over their joyless, silent and regal underground palace, in which they decide when and where the souls go, tearing open holes in the various planes of existence to send people there. They are not a malevolent ruler, but a custodian of the underworld. They have never spoken and have never misarbitrated someone’s fate, everyone ends up where they rightfully belong. No one has disagreed yet after all. They (The Watching Silence’s clerical staff) actually found the palace where they had dominion over souls and transported them to the surface where they made a black pyramid from the igneous rock surrounding Mt. Voormithadreth, as a monument to The Watching Silence in which they now sit. The retrieval of The Watching Silence subsequent moving, and building of the pyramid facing significant challenges and quartered their clerical staff. yet there the Watching Silence sat unmoving, unflinching, opening portals to the afterlife. The remaining clerical staff set to watch the great and powerful god scribing down every single thing this labored beast performed. People keep dying in Vorovia so assumedly the job is still being done even if the Watching Silence was removed from their palace. They are presumably Neutral but they've never spoken as far as anyone has recorded. Their holy symbol is a black oval with a pair of hands clasped over the bottom third of it.
